At Happy Hounds, we offer both standard neighbourhood walks and exciting adventure walks to suit every pup’s needs. Our neighbourhood walks are perfect for a reliable stretch of the legs and a toilet break in familiar surroundings—ideal for dogs who thrive on routine and comfort.
For the more adventurous pooches, our adventure walks offer a whole new level of enrichment. These outings involve transporting your dog to a local beach, creek, or park for a stimulating change of scenery, plenty of sniffing (a true “sniffari”), and even a splash in the water—perfect for those hot summer days when your dog needs to cool off.
Whether your dog loves swimming, exploring new trails, or just rolling in the grass, our adventure walks are designed to give them the fun and freedom they crave, all while you enjoy peace of mind.
What's Included
Owners can choose from 45-minute to 2-hour dog walks, tailored to suit their dog’s needs and energy levels.
Our adventure walks are kept as local as possible to minimise car travel, allowing more time for exploring nearby parks and beaches your dog will love.
Dog leads, waste bags and treats are provided
After each walk, you’ll receive photos and an update, along with a GPS-tracked map showing where your dog has been.
We’ll also empty and refill your dog’s water bowl, and if needed.

Not sure if you’re a regular weekly wagger or non-regular furry freestyler pet parent?
To be classed as a regular pet parent, we require 4 booked services on a monthly basis. A combination of services i.e. 2 x 30 min walks and 2 x 45 min pop-in visits can be booked and still qualify for the discounted rate.
Please note: our weekly wagger rates apply after you have been with Happy Hounds for one month.
A $15.00 surcharge will be added for after hours walks between 6:30pm – 5:00am. There is no additional charge for weekend walks.
If you are not located in one of our usual service areas, there may be charged a small additional fee.

Poop n Scoop

Per Extra Dog $5.00As the name suggests, we pick up your dog’s poop! If you’re short on time, and can’t get round to scooping the poop, we can add on this service following your dog’s walk. We can also hose down any stained concrete or grass to help remove the smell.

Backyard Dog Wash

Per Extra Dog – $10.00If you want your pup smelling fresh & clean after their walk, choose our backyard dog wash. We’ll give your pup a thorough wash with Dr Zoo’s natural calming shampoo, followed by a towel dry and brush. If you’d prefer to supply your own shampoo and conditioner, just let us know.

Post Walk Treaties
PRICES$5.00 – $15.00
Has your dog got the post-walk munchies? After their walk, you have the option of adding on a long-lasting, dried treat that will keep their bellies full for a little while longer. Options include: Beef Jerky Strips, Sheep’s Ear , Dried Green-Lipped Mussels, Moo Tubes & Dried Chicken Necks

Get In Touch
Choose how long you’d like your walk to be, how often per week and whether you’d like any add-on services and send us a message! We’ll be in touch within 24 hours to get you set up!

Bookings
To get you set up, you’ll complete a booking form with details about you and your pet(s). We’ll create an account for you in our system and provide access via a Client Portal. We’ll lock in your upcoming appointment and you can make any future changes, add-ons or cancellations as needed.

Meet Our Team
Before your first visit, one of our team members will contact you to organise a meet and greet. This is an opportunity for you to run through all the nitty gritty details of your dog’s care and for your dog to meet their new best friend!

Receive Updates
We give owner’s peace of mind by providing regular updates and photos after each walk. Our dog walks are also GPS tracked so you’ll always know where and when one of our team member’s is with your furry friend.
